Terms of Use
The short version. Homya needs a subscription to produce anything. It costs 7.99 USD per week after a 3 day free trial, or 39.99 USD per year with no trial. Apple takes the payment and it renews until you cancel in iOS Settings.
Your photos stay yours. The designs Homya returns are yours too, including for commercial use. The results are a visual idea of a room, not a builder's plan.

1. This agreement
These terms are between you and Lumio Studio, the publisher of Homya. Downloading or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement. We may update these terms; the effective date at the top always tells you which version applies, and we will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect.
2. What Homya does
You photograph a room, choose a look, and Homya returns an image of that same room redesigned, together with a written list of the pieces in it. Your finished designs are kept on your own device. There is no account to create and no password to remember.
3. Who may use it
You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, and able to enter a contract where you live. If you are using Homya on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
4. The free trial
There is no free result. Homya produces no design without an active subscription, and there is no free tier and no trial output. What is free is the 3 day trial on the weekly plan: you get the full app for those three days and pay nothing if you cancel before they are up. Before the trial starts, the app shows you what a design and its shopping list look like, so you know what you are subscribing to.
5. Subscription and billing
Producing a design requires a subscription:
- Weekly: 3 days free, then 7.99 USD per week.
- Yearly: 39.99 USD per year, with no trial period.
Prices are in US dollars and shown before you buy. In other countries the App Store charges the equivalent in your local currency, set by Apple, and local taxes may apply.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
If you take the free trial and do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid weekly subscription and the first charge is taken then. Starting a new trial for the same product is not possible once you have used one. The paywall in the app shows you the exact date of the first charge before you commit, not a vague description of it.
6. Cancelling and refunds
Cancel in iOS Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Homya. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Apple processes all payments, so Apple handles refunds, not us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you are in the EU or the UK, your statutory withdrawal and consumer rights still apply and nothing here limits them.
7. Your photos and your designs
Your photos remain yours. You give us only the narrow permission we need to do the job: to transmit and process the photo you submitted in order to produce your design. That permission ends when the design is delivered. We do not use your photos to train any AI model.
The designs Homya returns are yours, including for commercial purposes such as showing a client or listing a property. We claim no ownership of them.
You are responsible for having the right to use the photo you submit. Do not upload photographs of a property you have no permission to photograph, and do not upload photographs of people.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Homya to break the law, to infringe someone's rights, or to produce misleading material. In particular, do not:
- Present a generated design as a photograph of a real, existing space in a sale or rental listing without saying clearly that it is a visualisation.
- Upload images of people, images you do not have the right to use, or unlawful content.
- Reverse engineer the app, attack our infrastructure, or automate access to the service.
- Resell access to Homya or use one subscription to run a service for other people.
9. What the results are, and are not
Homya returns an idea of how a room could look. It is a visualisation produced by an AI model.
It is not an architectural drawing, a structural assessment, a survey, or a construction plan. Dimensions, materials, furniture and structural elements in the result may not be accurate or physically possible, and products shown may not exist or be purchasable. Do not rely on a Homya image for building work, for a purchase decision, or for anything requiring professional advice. Speak to an architect, a surveyor or a contractor for that.
The same photo and the same look can produce different results on different runs. That is how these models work, and it is not a fault.
10. Availability
Generating a design needs an internet connection. Your saved designs remain readable offline. We aim to keep the service running but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the app entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can save what you want to keep.
11. Our intellectual property
The Homya app, its name, its design and its software belong to Lumio Studio. Subscribing gives you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the app. It does not transfer ownership of anything.
12. Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or the cost of work carried out in reliance on a generated image. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Turkey or any other country whose law protects them.
13. Termination
You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. Erase what we hold first using Settings, then Delete all my data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend access if you break section 8, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkiye, where Lumio Studio operates, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
This does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere with mandatory local protections, you keep every right that law gives you and you may bring proceedings in your own local courts. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
15. Apple
Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for Homya, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of it and may enforce it against you. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Any claim that the app fails to conform to a warranty is ours to answer, not Apple's, and your remedy is a refund of the purchase price where applicable.
